The idea is very nice: nice, charming domes... but the execution needed more planning. It's right by a very busy road with constant noise of cars, and the units are still not fully finished. My dome had NO LOCK and not shades on the door... The staff had good intentions but were very limited. The bathroom is shared and not the greatest. The rooms were surprisingly large and had chairs, tables and access to a balcony. Disappointingly, the lodge does not have lake access for kayaking and canoeing on premise. You have to go to a shared resort canoe/kayak rental on the lake. The restaurant food was quality and staff were really attentive and kind. Nice pool, too. Baddeck has much to offer and the lodge is really close by (walking or short drive).
