"The pool was not open. The bar was closed for a private event. The stairs were nearly broken. Disappointed considering the high price to stay here. The bed and room were comfortable though and the 50s diner was great for breakfast."

"Hotel was quiet, clean and all staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were nice, although the pool didn’t seem heated (I thought I saw that it was but I could be mistaken). It was still nice after being in the hot tub. The only thing I didn’t necessarily like…the bed is rock hard. Like there is zero give to the mattress. At all. Which, after walking around San Jose all day, I didn’t feel like my body relaxed at all because the bed is so rigid. My partner didn’t mind it. He thought it was just fine. It helped that their pillows were decent. Overall, nice hotel, good price, decent location."
