All the staff and locals were extremely friendly and accommodating. I was not expecting this motel/lodge to be on par with a hotel. Staff went out of their way to put us in ad quiet a room as possible. It was remarkably quiet give the size of the wedding event. The room was very clean and nice. Very consistent with pictures advertised. It has a very interesting historic bar and resort adjacent. The bar is open for limited hours on the weekends and often has live music. Photos of the resort in its heyday are in the lobby. It’s very close to two small mountain towns with lots of restaurants and hiking.
