"The property has ‘good bones’ and in its heyday was probably immaculate. That being said, the rooms need to be renovated. The carpets were probably beautiful at one point but have outlived their usefulness. The property is also pet friendly and there were an overwhelming number of pets at the property, which was concerning with the old carpets. The location of the hotel is great and it is family friendly with lots of fun stuff for the kiddos."

Not the fanciest hotel in the area, but it is well suited for families and people who don't like the casino atmosphere. We also enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony on the 21st floor.
