« If you’re like me and you prefer boutique hotels over big brands, this place delivers. Plenty of character adds to the appeal. Small room but the patio really extends your living space and was private. I was disappointed to learn that the restaurant/bar were not yet open under the new ownership. I probably would have booked it anyway for the charm and the location. Just up the beach from Dana Point and convenient to local coffee shops and stores within a mile. »

« My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our two day trip here. We were there for the 4th of July Weekend! The location is perfect. Eric, Garrick, Adlai and Dash are all one of kind guys and great staff. You can tell they sincerely care about the guess. Even though I loved that we were right across the street from the beach, I still appreciated swimming in the mildly heat pool and soaking in the hot tub. This new hotel has great potential! »

« The room was very tight and the shower flooded the drain was dirty. Also there was not enough parking for property occupancy. The swing front desk young lady was polite but the day shift young lady upon arrival was not very welcoming as she seen us and stepped into the back. I wouldn’t stay here again. »

I was disappointed with the cost of parking - parking was listed significantly lower BW website, but booking through Expedia unless you are not parking because they charged nearly double... So you really don't save money overall booking though Expedia, because they up the cost of extras. When I complained about the difference, they did give me the BW price.
