"Meanest hotel stay ever. Thin towels, one robe, 10% left on the toilet tissue that was also cheap and thin. Warm not hot water. Surely receptionist and breakfast not as advertised [picture of cooked breakfast] was lobby coffee, buns, fruit. No butter. One english tea sachet in room. Paper or plastic plates and cups. Plastic is not eco friendly.
Upside, the room was spottlessly clean. Very expensive for cheap [as in quality) accomodation. "

Cabin Fever - Private Cabin in the Woods
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the cabin & the location. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
"We had a very nice stay. A simple facility where everything was clean. The front staff was particular friendly and accommodating making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fairly basic but still offered a good variety. We would definitely use it again when we visiting Bainbridge in the future.
The only disappointment was that the pool no longer existed. The property description on the website was not up to date prior to our departure. Only a minor disappointment for the kids."
Charming English Cottage Retreat Near Fay Bainbridge Park – Sleeps 6
10/10 Excellent
"My sister and I had a wonderful 3 day stay. The house and gardens were exactly as promised: private, restful and clean and provided everything that we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped (all the way down to a pickle fork!) but it was when I opened the bathroom drawer and saw not only a hairdryer, but also a diffuser, that this place went to the top of the class! "My two best friends and I had a really fun weekend here, despite a few of inconveniences. There's farm animals to watch and it's close to Winslow, the main street through downtown Bainbridge. It appears that the rental space is a work in progress. There's no sink upstairs in the kitchenette. The only sink is downstairs in the daylight basement room. The basement room is big and open with a king bed (very comfortable) and a double bed (not at all comfortable - thin mattress on a piece of plywood). There is a single bed upstairs, but it's very "antique" (iron with springs and all). There is one bathroom with a barn door that doesn't really provide any privacy. The space and linens are musty, and we discovered ants everywhere - not an "invasion" but many throughout the house. The only TV, which is not at all a big deal, we just didn't know, is downstairs in the area with the double bed. It's a Roku so you can stream movies, but we packed a bunch of DVDs, just not thinking. There's a dog on on the property, to deter coyotes, but he stays in a dog run and barks pretty often. If you're an empathetic dog lover, this will hurt your heart the entire time you're here. When in communication, the owner Sarah is very nice and accommodating. However, we never received a response on our second day when the door wouldn't lock. We would stay here again, once some issues are addressed."
Hidden Meadows - Quiet, charming, close to shopping, medical and naval bases.
