![We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. It really felt like a fairytale. ![We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. It really felt like a fairytale. "Nothing but good things to say about this property. Truly a first- class experience from start to end. The accommodations were amazing and the service was first rate. The one thing that really stood out (among many things) was the quality of the staff and their interest in getting to know the guests and to be of service. I hadn't told them that it was my partner's birthday while there and we got back to our room one evening we found a surprise birthday gift. That was an unexpected and very nuce touch. The property is beautiful and very well maintained What can I say, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this property and we woukd most definitely stay there again."
