"The hotel is very nice...nice restaurant.. excellent breakfast..easy parking and good value for money..as we took a small dog with us we were placed in a double room in an annexe of the hotel..the first room smelt of damp and clearly needed renovation but after complaining we were given a much better room albeit in the same annexe. .. "This is a pub with an incredible range of cask beers (10) mostly from the Lincoln Green Brewery. The 3 I try ed were excellent. The hotel (pub) has a faded grandeur feel and is basic. This suits me down to the ground. They do not do breakfast so we went to Tesco opposite which has a good cafe. The ensuite room was clean and tidy and met our needs well. It is up two flights of stairs though, no lift, and is a rabbit warren. Parking is on street. Overall I liked it but posh it is not."
