Luxurious Comfort

Posted 23-Apr-2016
Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, quiet
Hotel is conveniently located near Las Ramblas with many wonderful eating places all around. The room was completely redone with a beautiful luxurious shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet restful patio and the light snacks provided. We highly recommend this hotel.

A Hotel with an Elegant Touch

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: The terrace is a relaxed, comfortable space where you can read or meet with friends. The management was very helpful.
Cons: More English content or subtitles on the television.
Location: It is near the Plaza Catalunya where you can get the Aerobus to the airport and where you can get many tours of the city and surrounding areas.
Well situated and quiet, this hotel has an intimate feel. The location is central and convenient. The management is very helpful. Though there is no pool the garden terrace is elegant and has lots of space. The afternoon "tea" is a nice addition. For 2 euros you can have a nice snack. They provide free WIFI and have computers if needed.

Pros: Loved the character and eclectic blend of gorgeous old building and updated decor.
Location: Great location, we walked to the Gaudi buildings (Batllo & Padrera) but took a taxi back from Sagrada Familia for about 8 euro.
We loved Granvia! It was a classy modern updated gorgeous old building. Very clean. The desk staff was very helpful, even speaking English. We didn't eat at the restaurant (we ate at the bar next door, but shouldn't have), but there was coffee and tea there, as it was not in our rooms. It was very nice up there in the restaurant, and we really enjoyed the large beautiful outdoor space. There was also a huge gorgeous library with a couple computers and free wifi throughout. It is not a hub of excitement, however, very quiet except for traffic noise.

Hotel Granvia was bang on the money.

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Pros: Friendly Staff, Comfort, quiet
Cons: Wasn't really an issue but maybe a little more variety on the Fried breakfast side
Location: Tour busses all nearby , Les Rambles (10min walk) , Gaudi's 2 main building attractions nearby . Metro station a few yards from the hotel entrance.
The Hotel was extremely relaxed and comfortable. The rooms very spacious, I compared 3 as I booked 3 for family members. They all have slight differences - some have bath/showers and some a large shower. The Hotel interior décor and restaurant were very pleasant. There were no tea / coffee facilities within the rooms , but was greatly compensated by the free tea/ coffee facility available from early morning until 22:00. 6 family memebers stayed here and all loved it . The other key factor was its location which gave great access to the city. Around the corner at Placa De Catalunya (one of the main city squares) All their Tour buses and other links start and terminate here such as the Aerobus service from the airport, also is where Les Rambles begins. Looking forward to my next stay here.

Wunderbares Hotel in der Stadt

Posted 7-Apr-2016
Pros: alles, d.h. Lage, Zimmer, Frühstück und der Flair des Hotels
Cons: nein

"Best Three Star Hotel Ever"

Posted 3-Apr-2016
Pros: Room was a comfortable size, simple, and clean (we were in what the hotel titles a "superior room").
Cons: Suggestions: Tissues: should be a box - not only 2 or 3 tissues provided daily (in a sealed pouch). Bathroom soap: was tiny - should be a bit larger.
Location: We loved the hotel's location; in central Barcelona, a comfortable 10 minute or so walk from the main square of Barcelona - the "Placa de Catalunya".
Our overall experience was great. The staff was always courteous and helpful. We found the room (including bathroom) to be all we would want from a hotel in terms of size and comfort. (We would have a preferred one double or queen-size bed instead of two singles next to each other; but perhaps we missed this when booking the room). We would also suggest the hotel offer, as part of its room rates, one large bottle of drinking water per night per guest. (If it did, we were not aware of it.) Our room rate included a buffet breakfast, which we thought offered just about everything a person might want for breakfast. One of the best breakfast buffets we've ever had.

Good central hotel

Posted 19-Mar-2016
Excellent helpful staff. Very spacious clean room with large ensuite. Only complaint is beds were very hard. Comprehensive choice at breakfast and afternoon tea and cakes was a nice idea. Well located and easy to walk from or use public transport or taxis.
