Great hotel in the center of it all.

Posted 16-Apr-2017
The hotel is clean and nice. They have an outdoor patio area with comfortable sofas and chairs. Great breakfast and tea time with sandwiches, pastries and beverages. Stayed there one night and went back for two more at the end of the trip. Also great wifi.

Fantastic hotel, central location

Posted 16-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything- delightful hotel in a central area
Cons: Nothing
Location: Next to Passeig de Gracia, Las Ramblas, down the road (2 min walk) from Placa de Catalunya which is where tour bus runs from, catch a bus to airport
What can I say, we loved everything about this hotel. Our family room was spacious, large double sofa bed, and queen size bed with room to move. Room was clean, bright, decor is classical and tastefully done- very homely. The hotel has a spacious dining room which provides complimentary pastries, sandwiches, sweets for afternoon tea between 5-7pm. Everything is beautifully presented. There is an outdoor area and another quiet sitting area on the other side of the dining room which provides computers. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is located right next to Passeig de Gracia (shopping galore), short walk to Las Ramblas and architectural delights such as Gaudi and La Pedrera. Definitely coming back to this one.

Nice hotel, convenient location

Posted 11-Apr-2017
Pros: Location, breakfast.
Cons: Fresh coffee at breakfast instead of just from the machine. Maybe some shelfs/drawers in the closets too have more space to unpack clothing.
This hotel is conveniently located near metro stops and is within walking distance to many sights. The breakfast buffet was good with a selection of pastries, breads, eggs and fruits. They also had snacks and tea/coffee set out in the afternoon. There is a nice terrace to sit outside if the weather is nice. The room was small but sufficient and clean. The staff was helpful in providing directions to various locations. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Lovely hotel with great location

Posted 24-Mar-2017
Pros: Location of the hotel is perfect for a short visit to Barcelona as it is in the city centre. Easily accessible from the train station.
Location: Plenty of shopping, restaurants, located near by. Short walk to the market.
The hotel was easy to find and get to from the airport. Staff were incredibly helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The room was nicely updated and extremely clean.

Well located, quiet, spacious well-equipped room.

We were perfectly content during our stay. Liked the way they renovated an old building.

Perfect spot 200 metres from the tourist centre

Posted 13-Mar-2017
Pros: Everything.
Location: Very close to the airport bus, hop-on, hop-off bus and a major metro cross point. An easy walk to the gothic quarter and La Rambla.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our room was on the main street but the double glazing did a good job of dulling the noise. The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the little touches, like the heated mirror in the bathroom and the option of having a different type of pillow if needed.

A convenient place to sleep

Posted 28-Feb-2017
This is a typical "old city" hotel. The rooms are small, the lift slow. The staff was attentive and competent. The shower has ample hot water and the water pressure was excellent. My room was quiet. The location was good for my business needs.

Really good hotel, centrally located

Posted 28-Feb-2017
Hotel is an old building that has been beautifully renovated. Our room was lovely, overlooked a large central courtyard with bar and lounge chairs. No noise from the street and bus stop right outside. We were able to walk to the Gothic quarter and main square in around 5 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and shops near hotel.
