Location is the only reason to stay here. My room was adequate but not a place I wanted to spend *any* time in. Very little space and not inviting. No coffee/tea. Maybe most importantly, the room had no natural light - window looked out at interior concrete walls extending to the sky. If I leaned out of it I could see the sky. I was here in February so the pool was closed. In warmer months at least you could spend time there if you wanted to relax in between sightseeing. In contrast to a different Barcelona hotel I stayed in with the same price range, I did not feel welcomed by the reception staff. They did not welcome me to Barcelona, ask if they could help with anything, etc. They just gave me a local map. Only 2 electrical outlets in the room, and neither one was next to the bed. “Free” WiFi required registering with an email address or social media account so I did not use it (not “free” when we pay with that kind of access to our info). The room was clean. The towels were incredibly scratchy but I assume clean. Complimentary bottle of water.
