« The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights. »

They did however have portable room air conditioners, but I should not waste my vacation time setting them up.I wanted to bake something in the kitchen oven and as it was heating up to 375 degrees there was a toxic fuming smell coming out of the oven. For the first 15 minutes we were concerned that there was no air conditioning until we learned that most of Portland is not air conditioned and it was not an issue even though there was a heat wave. We were out most days doing things and at night it got cool and we could open things up and the fans did a wonderful job. It was cozy and restful each evening to come back to. »

« Overwhelmingly phenomenal. My personal experience was spectacular, partly because of the actual rental (the decor, the area, the elevator, The Deck!) but mostly because we got the opportunity to meet the owner herself, which is a gem of a person. You meet a lot of people traveling, but Vicki marked me profoundly. As for the actual site, we used it for 48h to visit Portland and Cannon Beach area, while on a 17 days tour of Oregon. The area is very high end, with really nice houses in the hills....

« So I loved the proximity to where I needed to be. Comfortable set up, separate bedroom from living area. Shower excellent pressure. I would like to see some "refresh" details...minor repairs to show care is given. Spackle - paint, cabinets in kitchen show dinge wear and tear. Curtain rods in living area need the nobs on ends so it won't fall down while trying to close curtains. I wish I had stayed long enough to use the patio. Loved the peace and quiet, even so close to the freeway. »

« That was by far the most misleading vrbo I’ve ever experienced. They state it’s a quiet sanctuary… it is far from. The house is stocked with hundreds of ear plugs due to hearing every single car that passes on a very busy road. You can hear every conversation and door opening in the duplex next to you. The microwave was broken & not useable, the blinds were completely ripped in half forcing us to cover the windows with a blanket for our daughter to sleep. Pretty insane price to pay for what you...

"C’est un très bel hôtel, très bien placé à pied et près des transports en commun et très chic et luxueux. Le vrai point positif est vraiment la piscine avec le spa, le sauna et la chambre vapeur. La chambre était grande et propre avec une belle vue sur la ville, le personnel était chaleureux et serviable et le bar chic et sympathique également. Il est possible de manger dans le restaurant de l’hôtel, apparemment d’y prendre le petit déjeuner, et il y a même un petit coffee shop relié à l’hôtel. Je recommande sans hésiter et je reviendrai à coup sûr. Attention cependant autour il n’y a pas énormément de restaurant pour manger le soir."
