Comfortable bed, nice view of the city. The front doorman was helpful in dealing with the terrible entry screen, he escorted us to the room. The suite was unlocked with a Key and fob on the table. Once in, the place has a decent layout. The back bedroom is open to the kitchen and must be passed through to access the bathroom, not ideal but not terrible. The main kitchen wall could use a complete repaint, you could see every repair and tell how tall the cleaner was based on the lower portion of the wall only being wiped. The entry door to the suite appears to have been kicked in at some point, with the repair being poorly done. Appliances were new however we were only staying the night so nothing was really used. We parked across the street in the Impark lot, a bit pricy but typical for downtown Calgary. The tenants we talked with were very friendly and the location was great for the function we were attending. There was a key to lock the suite and a fob for access to the building, both worked fine. Upon departing the key/fob were put back in the bowl on the table but there was no way of locking the door, I found that uncomfortable knowing anyone could have access once we departed. That should be corrected. I videoed the place on exit, hopefully it won’t be needed.

Amazing little bungalow. The most relaxing place ever. Highly recommended!

The room was in the process of being repainted and fixed. Be transparent to guests as to this expectation.

Perfect stay

I booked last minute during stampede just hoping to get anything. But I was absolutely blown away by both the property itself and the amazing hospitality I was offered by the small family run BnB. She was very welcoming, showed me all around the property and I was able to pick from a couple room options that were still available, and I was welcome to any of the water and the snacks in the kitchen. Check in and check out was super easy and they register your vehicle for parking. I was offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning however I let her know I was leaving super early and instead she packed me a sandwich for the road. I would say a stay at this place is a must. The house itself is beautiful. It is close to downtown and was able to walk to the cowboys music festival in about 20mins.
