« Overall, the hotel seemed to be poorly managed. The room key pad's battery was dead and we were not able to re-access the room after our belongings were inside. The front desk staff member, Matt, was very helpful but was not fully trained on the procedure to unlock the door. « Hotel pool was not operational even though on line they stated it was working. When I checked in I was told I did not have a double queen room and was told I could get two separate rooms even though I am traveling with a 10 year old and 13 year old. TV was not working. Called downstairs to get help and no one came. Went down stairs 30 minutes later and then someone followed me up. Overall I wish I could get my money back. I will not be staying at a Hampton inn again. »

« Room Number Eleven: The photo of the room did NOT match reality. The ancient berber carpet smelled like an ashtray and was full of runs and holes. It looked as if someone had punched a hole through the bathroom door with their fist, which did not make us feel safe. « To my surprise this was the exact same cabin we stayed in a couple years ago. In fact I didn’t realize this when I booked my stay. The new log structure is really impressive we can’t wait to see the rest of the improvements. The only thing I could add is parking in front of the cabin kind of block other vehicles trying to squeeze through. I do believe in the summer we parked on the side of the cabin in the grass. Maybe you could make that a more permanent parking space and plow it in the winter...
