We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice for a short term stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. The added touches such as fresh cookies, breakfast and bedtime treat were unexpected but very nice. And the rooftop was a bonus that we truly enjoyed.

staff was really friendly and helpful!! they kept our bags before checking in and after we checked out. provided water and towels for the beach. when we needed an iron, they brought one up with the board. provided breakfast and had a great view from the rooftop balcony. would stay again!

The hotel is cute, clean, and updated and new. It was also quiet. The rooms are air conditioned which is really nice on Catalina in the summer. Lots of places there are NOT air-conditioned. That being said, I don't know that I would stay there again. It is REALLY expensive. The room itself is small (as are most hotel rooms on the island), the bathroom is tiny and the sink...wow. I've never seen such a tiny sink. The hotel was very nice, and quiet-couldn't hear any golf carts-but there are equally nice places for less money.

We had a great experience at the Aurora Hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop lounge area was very well-kept with a great view of the town and bay. The best part however, was the staff! The staff was super friendly, well-informed, and very easy to talk to. They put on wonderful welcome wine and cheese tastings and breakfasts for the weekend. We had fun conversations and had all our questions answered! Thank you to everyone at the Aurora Hotel for an amazing and memorable weekend!
