Parking + Grill In an incredible location just west of Downtown in the Westfield neighborhood surrounded by multi-million dollar homes, this 1 bedroom apartment is the perfect place to start your Austin adventure! It\`s outside of downtown enough that you\`ll get good sleep, but still close to everything that\`s going on. This one bedroom apartment has an excellent central Austin location! It\`s down the street from the famous Lady Bird Lake Trail, which loops around Lady Bird Lake downtown. Many bars and restaurants are easy to walk to and it\`s also very close to downtown with great access via ride share, which means you\`re super close to everything. It\`s recently been completely remodeled. The apartment fits 4 people comfortably with 2 in the queen bed and 2 on the comfy sleeper sofa. Work from home or keep the family entertained with high speed wifi and a smart TV. Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and more! The apartment has one air conditioning window unit with a wall control that keep the place cool even in the hot Austin summers! It also keeps the apartment warm in the winter or those occasional chilly nights. This apartment also comes with a parking space very close to the home! Multiple cockroaches and other small bugs throughout the entirety of the apartment (under the bed, under the kitchen sink, behind the washer/ dryer) property manager claimed due to the recent inclement weather and the exterior tree adjacent to the property is the reason there were bugs inside. (So that should tell you it’s something they have known about but still won’t commit to fix ) I know the building is older- however it is apparent that the cleaning service being provided/sub contracted is very poor. Save yourself the headache and excuses of poor management when there are so many other amazing properties in the Austin area(free of bugs !) ##### Ethan B. I tried to reserve their place in the morning of the same night ...there. I tried correcting the calendar, but it kept entering the 27th, when I wanted the 26th. I figured I could explain to the host that I wanted to stay there the same day I was contacting them, the 26th. Big mistake. The host saw the date and instead of reading my explanation, he took the Airbnb date as final. I asked if we could split it, as he could now rent it on the 27th. No way. ##### Marcia B. Sep 10, 2020 #### Awesome place, clean and convenient, just not the best night’s sleep 700 Hearn is a great Air BnB. So many positives, especially the location and cleanliness. The only down side for us was the firmness of the bed (too hard), and the sound of the A/C wall unit throughout the night. It broke that deep sleep. The owner recommended ear plugs in his tips prior to trip. That’s good (we did not take and should have). You might consider adding a softer mattress top to the bed, as well as adding a white noise maker (Homedics makes a great one), for those guests who have lighter sleep pattern and are more sensitive to noise.
