Search Motels in Athens - Sweetwater from CA $67

This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots.

The staff is very friendly, The rooms are high priced for for what you get. Our room had a strong campfire smoke smell from the in room fireplace that never went away the entire time we stayed. It is very dated but clean. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you and outside. Our room had issues with the hair dryer not working and the smoke detector going off all night on the last night of our stay due to dead battery I assume.

Really nice, clean place! Would stay here again for sure.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Property and rooms very clean. Great price for what was offered.

Staff was very helpful picking a place to eat. Also was very friendly. Room was clean. Location was excellent for our trip. Price was good.

We stayed 2 nights while riding the Tale of the Dragon and other fantastic motorcycle roads in the area. The location was perfect. Gas and food were close. Property was lovely and the pool was a welcome end after a long day in the saddle. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

The hotel was good especially for the price. The room was clean. Staff very friendly and professional. The highway sound was noticeable. The hotel was walking distance from a few food options and convenience stores

Awesome as always ...4th stay, although this time my wife spilt coffee all over a pillow, we might not be allowed back :)

We stayed here after driving for 12 hours .. it was perfectly clean and equipped for my family to stay there .. especially for the price. Beds were clean and comfortable... My family got a good nights sleep. I would recommend that they add some sort of breakfast but not a big deal.

Nice little roadside motel. Nothing much to say, It was clean and had the most comfortable bed and sheets. Slept like a baby.

Exceeded my expectations.

Nice clean room friendly staff.

Staff were friendly, the location was good and I felt safe. The room was spotless!

Fine for the type of hotel. A bit dated.

Staff very helpful and friendly Nothing they would not do. Very nice breakfast

Pourquoi seulement une chaise???? Nous sommes 2 alors , ajouter une chaise serait vraiment apprécié !!! La porte de la salle de bain devrait être réparé… elle frotte par terre… le tout etait excellent!!! Merci

Very safe place to stay
