Pros - The building and the people were nice. It’s in a convenient location for touring the Acropolis and nice dinners around Plaka and Monateraki. Cons - the room was cramped with a support beam in the middle of the pathway. There was only one trash bin in the whole room which was also the toilet paper trash can, and due to the Hotel’s location in a trendy location, it can be noisy at night.

Hotel in the heart of Plaka with a modern twist. Older building that has been transformed into a hotel. It's a 5-minute walk from Monastiraki Metro, and yet mostly quiet (except for church bells) and safe (with main door code). A generous breakfast is available at the restaurant next door. Not ideal if you have a car, as parking in that area is difficult. Great small hotel with friendly staff. Mini bar and coffee ($) in the room. We loved our stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small issue with the room but they corrected it without us asking while we were out for the day. GREAT location for walking to sites to visit as first time vacationers to Athens. We would definitely stay again!

Such a WONDERFUL hotel. All the quaint restate right around you. We only stayed one night but we would choose this for a longer stay. Absolutely prefect! Staff, location, room - all above expectations. We received a complimentary room upgrade (there is only one upgrade room) and it was crazy cool!

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Reported some damaged bathroom fixtures and we were moved to another room the next day. Amazing service. Perfect location to everything in Athens, is within walking distance. Highly recommend.

This hotel was right in the heart of Ancient Athens and it was near numerous great restaurants. It was a quick walk to the Monastraki station, so getting around was easy. The room we had was definitely small, and because it's a busy area, there was some noise. Wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. But if you are used to the noise of a city/will be up late partying there should be no problem. All interactions with staff were good and they were very helpful.

This hotel served its purpose in that it was in downtown/central Athens, in walking distance to most of the archaeological parks. However, the hotel is located on a very busy street corner and above a restaurant that played very loud music every night until midnight. The noise from below really didn't quiet down most nights until 1am or 2am. The beds were comfortable and adequate. The WiFi worked well for us, even to stream videos. Linens changed daily which was nice. Large bathroom. If I could do it again, I probably would book a place south of the Acropolis - we visited over there and that area of town seemed quieter and cleaner. None of this was the hotel's fault though. Also, does have in-room AC which kept the room comfortable (however if you're like me, and prefer rooms to be *cold*, as seems to be typical in Europe, this didn't do that - kept it temperate but never really got cold in the room - nonetheless I was grateful to have it!). We really didn't have any complaints with the hotel, just the surrounding environment - but that's what you get with central Athens.

Front desk staff was very friendly and offered to store luggage after checkout. Area is among many shops and food options. Entrance to hotel is secured and feel safe. Third-floor still received some ambient street noises such as drumming until midnight but we slept fine.

Fabulous hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was beautiful. My room was wonderful with high ceilings and modern touches (i booked a superior room). Area was perfect for walking around and had plenty of shopping and dining options. Would definitely stay here again

Boutique hotel , in a great location.
Beautiful boutique hotel, with a quirky , funky vibe in a fantastic location. We were kindly upgraded for the first night of our stay as we were celebrating our anniversary, however both rooms were equally nice. Only grumble is the cost of 2 euros for a capsule of coffee. Personally I feel tea and coffee should be complementary to the room.

Interesting!
The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful, kind and professional. The hotel is small and in a crowded area. If you need or want confort do not book a standard room. The hotel is interesting but it is not for everyone. It is not a bad place and I did manage to enjoy my stay there.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at Hotel Noma. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Christina was especially helpful with informing us about public transit, ordering a taxi, and letting us store our large amount of luggage for a while after check out. And there was another woman (whose name i unfortunately can’t remember) that gave us great restaurant recommendations. The hotel itself was charming and comfortable. We stayed in the Acropolis suite. It was well worth the money. A large room with a view a private floor with comfortable amenities. Location was excellent. There were countless restaurants and shops right out the front door and the metro was only a short walk. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great little spot in Athens
This is a great hotel in the heart of the Athens Monostaraiki area! Super clean and very convenient to all the great areas! I stay here every year before I come back to the US!

The place is stunning and the people who work there are really nice. But we couldn’t sleep before 2.30am because of the bar/restaurant right underneath our room (not part of the hotel) If you book there, make sure not to take a room on the 2nd floor (they have 4 floors)

In a very central location, in the middle of the action. Very clean and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The only issue was it was very noisy. It didn't bother us too much but if you want to be very close to bars and restaurants prepare for a lot of noise around the area.

Noma hotel is a beautiful building which has been refurbished to a high standard. Don't be deceived by appearances. The service ranged from lackadaisical to downright hostile, and was so unlike the customary warm hospitality of Greece! Avoid at all costs.

Great hotel, super staff near Monastiraki
The photos on line showing brick arches and old wooden beams were what attracted me to Noma, and the real thing did not disappoint. Kudos to the architect and contractor for a beautiful job refurbishing this property. Quirky and creative with quality touches like the rainfall showerhead and lovely bed linens = we had a wonderful time. I would suggest that the lighting be brighter in rooms, and that there be at least one chair to sit in. Staff were friendly and super helpful, especially Athina who went above and beyond the call of duty to locate our Acropolis tickets on my IPad. I highly recommend Noma.

Overall a great place and a great location!
Great place overall! Perfect location and a beautiful building! Just be sure you understand that when it says “airport shuttle” it does not mean that. It means they will get a cab for you for $50 euros. Which isn’t a problem however I believe people think that an airport shuttle is included in the price and it’s not.

Great location and a unique property. The breakfast was cooked to order each morning although the coffee was cold most days. Our only complaint was the outdoor hot tub in the suite. It was the reason we're booked this hotel. It was never above 94 farenheit which is simply too cold when it's 40 or less out. The staff tried to rectify the issue, but finally gave up with the reasoning that they could not by code make it any warmer. It doesn't add up. We stayed at another Greek hotel with a private outdoor hot tub and three temperature was 104. It would have been nice had they offered some compensation for the malfunction or lack of ability to use the hot tub. We would definitely stay again just not in the suite. Location was right in the middle of the action. Avoid having a car if you can. Parking is difficult and can become expensive.

Location was great, just steps away from many restaurants and cafes and we easily walked to many of the central locations within 10 minutes. Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The hotel and room had a lot of neat character. The rooms are not soundproof, we were located above the restaurant and could easily hear the music in our room and also could hear the hotel doorbell ring all through the night. The bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival but after requesting for it to be cleaned we realized that it was stained which is a bummer since it was just recently renovated. Overall it was a decent hotel.

Great location close to Acropolis and dining/shopping opportunities. Hostesses were phenomenal. They would not intrude, but were always available to help. There is a bit of a noise issue from music from next door restaurant.

This hotel is in a great location. It's just a few blocks from the Metro station, and it's within walking distance to all the historic parts of Athens we wanted to see. My Husband and I booked the suite, and we were very impressed with the room and the view! It was well worth what we paid. The staff was excellent and very helpful. They gave us excellent dinner suggestions as well as help with the metro. We never had issues with the Wifi. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning. We would absolutely recommend this hotel!
