"The apartment is located in a great spot right next to the best bakery in town and a great scenic overlook. There are lots of fun board games in the loft which was wonderful for our kids. The very friendly and helpful host made our experience even more pleasant. Peniche is an awesome town and this was a beautifully renovated home with a nice patio. We highly recommend this place!"

"Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August. Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away. A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. "We had a great start. I mistakenly booked the wrong date and the host quickly accommodated. Unfortunately after our stay it was the complete opposite. The host has made false accusations albeit this is unclear because of the language differences and this is currently under investigation."

"Excellent Villa with pool. Villa is extremely private which we enjoyed. An extremely quiet location which was what we all needed. A few restaurants within a short drive but the property had an amazing gas bbq which we used a lot. Excellent location for golf and water sports. Beautiful beaches close by but, a car is essential to make the most of this beautiful area. Great location for exploring Obidos, Peniche and Nazare. Owners were always on hand to answer any questions. Amazing!!!"

Having bikes available made it even better - we didn't have a car so it was useful to have them for exploring and shopping. We would definitely come again!"

"This is an amazing little house in a cool old walled city. They’ve done a great job giving you some of the amenities from the present, while also preserving much of the past the house. If you happen to visit in the winter keep in mind this is a very old home and you’re gonna wanna bring some cosy clothing and slippers. Host was generous and responsive. Initially we had problems connecting with our host as they did not respond to emails or texts until we learned that we needed to use the WhatsApp which is not common in Canada but used throughout Europe. the house was traditional but had modern conveniences which was helpful. "We were down in the Algarve's for a while before for a wedding. We stayed here 3 nights and was delighted with our hosts care and service of our stay. They met us and gave us keys on our arrival. The son gave me a few points of interest that we could consider visiting on our stay. One is the stairs that lead to the main entrance. This is not kid-friendly, nor is it suitable for older people with walking issues. We even had a hard time getting our luggage down the stairs. "A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants.
