Amazing gem in Kyoto. Will definately stay here again next time I visit. Location is excellent, the rooftop view and cocktails are amazing, and the bakery and breakfast assortment is second to none. They even have laundry machines which were highly convenient after our 5 day Tokyo stay. We rented their e-bikes for a hike to the shrine which was very cool and easier than walking. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room is big and the shower pressure is amazing. I felt right at home here and it was hard to leave. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Soraniwa Terrace Kyoto Bettei was the friendliest stay that we had in Japan. The folks at the hotel were super welcoming and the amenities in the room made it feel like home. The onsen in the room is a luxury unheard of elsewhere and is perfect after long days exploring Kyoto.

Very clean and the staff were very professional and inviting. Private onsen was fantastic. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Loved that all lights were controlled by a center console. Definitely a must stay when you are in Kyoto. It was also walking distance to the markets.
