Hotel management & staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful, responding quickly to any needs or questions. Although the rooms are basic, amenity wise, ours was quiet, comfortable & clean. We were surprised that the room had a mini fridge, so that was a plus for keeping snacks & bevs on hand. Also, centrally located on A1A, so very convenient for exploring the beaches & parks in the area. About ten minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach, with its nice restaurants, shops & bars. We came for a concert at the recently opened Tigre Island Room, a really nice live music venue downtown on 2nd St. We loved the budget friendly price! I expect to stay again, next time we come to beautiful Amelia Island, hopefully very soon.
