"When the room next door was wildly partying from 12 - 4 am and I had to call security twice, the front desk was very unapologetic and the only thing they offered was to move my room. They said, well this happens sometimes at a casino. Like they were trying to tell us that we should lower our expectations about getting sleep because we're at a casino! We said we'd like them to comp the night as we didn't get a wink of sleep, but they said they could not do that. Why not may I ask? Is it too much to ask to at least be able to get some sleep at a hotel for the price we pay? After pressing them, they finally offered free breakfast, which also wasn't nearly enough. I suspect that this happens quite often here. Will not be staying here again."

"Our experience was very good. We enjoyed our visit very much. Our room was cozy and welcoming. We had a few unique experiences that might help others to be aware of in the future. The hot water heater was very small which was fine, however, not knowing this we ran out of hot water during the first shower which left only cold water for my shower and we had a funeral to attend so that made it very inconvenient. Had we known we could have planned accordingly. Our second experience was that wiring fo one of the lights seemed to be connected incorrectly and sparks actually flew out of the wall (scary and definitely unexpected) when we touched the cord and it caused the breaker to switch to off turning off two walls of electric outlets and the tv. This was quickly addressed which we appreciated. Our villa did not have a paddle to move the water around in the hot tub and the thermometer didn’t appear to be working correctly. Keep a close eye on your water temp in the hot tub. Once it gets close to an acceptable temperature slow up on feeding your fire. The night we got it to a lovely temperature the hot tub feature was so lovely and the reason we booked at this unique property. Try some local restaurants. We went out for subs at Fork and Flame and a nice breakfast in the morning at Scrumpchies. I was hoping for a conversation about the electrical mishap in our room from the owners with some type of compensation but with the exception of that our time was enjoyable."

"Fast check in and friendly, professional front desk staff. I stayed 3 nights. They state that breakfast is “continental” and that’s exactly what is offered so people shouldn’t complain. The machine dispensed coffee is pretty awful. I had a standard king room and it was clean and good sized. They do need to add another chair to the room. The only chair is at the desk which faces a wall with your back to the tv so your only choice to watch tv is on the bed. They have some nice touches with cookies and whole fruit available all day. If I’m in the area, I would stay here again"

"We have 6 pets and have a tough time finding a sitter, so sometimes we travel with our largest pup (she's only 20lbs lol) and were pleased that she could join us on this trip! The Oak Cottage was neat and clean, well laid out as far as using the family room, kitchen, bedrooms, deck, and access to parking. We loved that you could manage the temps in each room, although we kept the spaces we used the same, it was easy to keep the upstairs lower (we used the 1st floor bedroom) so not to waste the heat. We loved having a gas stove in the family room to warm up by fire or relax after exploring (there were plenty of extra blankets too). We had family visit and were able to barbecue and cook some of our meals. Being from Delaware, it was great having Wegmans not so far away to grab food, snacks and supplies from. We came at Thanksgiving so there were a good many things closed in the area and Finger Lakes region, however we were still able to get in a hike, winery tour, and just plain relax. Temps for us ranged from mid 50s to mid 30s, we had sun, rain, gale force winds, and a snowstorm all in 1 week. But no matter, we enjoyed watching the lake from the living room and cozying up to watch movies in Thanksgiving and put Legos together. Our pup Sansa normally hates bad weather but she loved walking down to the water and exploring the yard (leashed of course) regardless of what was going on outside. :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend the cottage!"

"The Farmhouse was perfect for our Thanksgiving celebration. We have a large family with many living out of town, so the eight bedrooms worked great to accommodate them. Having two fully stocked kitchens made meal preparation easy, especially for our Thanksgiving feast. The bonus/game room, barn and chickens were a hit with everyone, and we especially enjoyed the farm fresh eggs. Whitney was great at communicating and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our family was thankful that we were able to find such a wonderful property to enjoy together. I highly recommend this property, especially for large families."
