« Beautiful place on earth, very special land.
It isn’t easy to find a place without noise, this is a place where you can enjoy peace and silence.
Simple, yes, everything’s there, I’d say bring your own towels, seven people will fit, six more comfortably.
The water is good, no need to bring your own. The drive there takes a bit of time, dirt road.. not that we mind, just be prepared to drive on the road at times rough.
We made it with a regular sedan.

« We chose this property for its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park, relying on the Expedia listing that promised A/C and a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the house was very hot upon arrival, and the washer was broken.
We had two main issues:
Broken Washer: The washer was the primary reason we rented a house instead of a hotel. The owner later revealed a previous guest broke it, and they were unable to fix it. However, they failed to warn us in advance so we could make other laundry...

« This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay! »

« The only issue was the 6+ miles of unpaved roads. Glad we took the vehicle we did because our other car would have shaken apart.
Great views...especially at night! Almost no light contamination so could see Venus and Jupiter and the whole sky of stars. »
