« Patty was a wonderful, kind, and attentive host. The property is a great little find within a beautiful Berkeley neighborhood. Although it's behind the main house, there was sufficient privacy — and a lovely little garden. My only contention was that it wasn't perfectly clean. The bathroom in particular (shower and laundry machine) had quite a bit of human and dog hair. The furniture and appliances are also older and evidently used. That said, this doesn't detract from the home's functionality....

« Very responsive host who was easy to work with. We choose the location to be close to Berkeley but not in the thick of the university. The home is cute & the neighborhood was quiet. The hot tub was a nice perk! »

« Not as advertised - we actually left - dirty and blocked in behind a building with broken windows and horrible trash smell- the place was dirty with towels over the couch and not cleaned - property contact just went silent when I asked for refund - giant bummer »

« This is a quiet and cozy place to stay in Alameda, which has a lot to offer: restaurants parks, sunsets.The apartment is bright and the beds, sleeps 4 easily, comfy. Extra pillows, blankets, and towels makes everything nice.I would definitely stay again when in the area. »

« We really enjoyed our stay in Sae's lovely cottage in the Berkeley hills. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The views are spectacular. New appliances in the galley kitchen and many thoughtful decorations and amenities for renters. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. A few things to be aware of - because it is high up in the hills, the drive to the cottage is on winding roads. There is a way to walk down to campus near the football stadium, but this includes a trail and stairs...
