The host was kind and went out of his way to make us feel more comfortable and even called the day before to give directions and some nice spots around the property and surrounding towns. The property itself is beautiful with some absolutely amazing views of the mountain range. My girlfriend, our dog, and my self had an amazing time here.
Cabin was as described. The owner was very helpful and gave advice for fishing and activities in the area. The land where the cabin is located is fairly remote and has beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks. Enjoyed being away from the city and would love to visit again.
My boyfriend and I spent New Year's at the Bears Den and we can't wait to go back!!! This cabin was everything we were looking for and more. The cabin was very clean and the bed was so comfortable!Mike was a wonderful host making sure we had everything we needed! The property was absolutely Beautiful with AMAZING VIEWS!! We saw so much wildlife and even had 3 Mule Deer Bucks come right beside the cabin!!! Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Thank You for letting us stay in your cabin Mike and WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK!!!
What a great cabin! We were very comfortable and the views were magnificent! You can see so many stars. The options of tables outside was really great too.
The house has everything you’d need for your stay. We really enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back!
The cabin and property were exactly what we had hoped. We wanted to get away from the city and relax and this was just the place. It's situated on a large property with no ne else in sight. The view over the valley below and of the Spanish Peaks is amazing. Even though this is a bit remote, the cabin does offer wifi and has a streaming television. The cabin is cozy and it has a great kitchen for those that enjoy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be returning again.
We cant say enough about this property. Love the privacy, the views and watching the wild life. Mike and Laurie are wonderful. They checked on us to make sure everything was going alright. Had everything we needed in this cabin. Already counting the days til we can return to this property.
This was a return trip for us as we loved this cabin so much the first visit. The amazing views and being on a large property without having to see a single soul are priceless! Once again, Mike was super easy to communicate with and timely with any questions we had. He gave some great suggestions for adventures around the area. We will definitely return during summer months.
Beautiful property with a stupendous view of the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Christo mountains in the distance. Three large rack mule deer bucks came walking through the backyard one morning. On the top of the higher foot hills with a large clearing in front of cabin allowed for expansive sky views including rainbows every evening
good place to just get away from all the noise of everyday life and watch a great sunset. do be aware though there are some cactuses around the property so if you have an animal bring some boots and tweezers for them
Great cabin. Great Host. Wifi kept us connected yet able to disconnect as mid west cellular carrier has no signal in the area. We used the cabin as a base for an elk hunt in the area. We had a great hunt and stay. Will book again if in the area. Thanks
My husband and I loved this cabin and the views and being on a large property without having to see a single soul! Mike was super easy to communicate with and gave some great suggestions as far as drives etc. when we chatted with him prior to staying. As this is a fairly new rental he was very open to suggestions which we appreciated. Would definitely love to return during summer months.
