"Experience wasn’t so great - room requires a revamp. Water struggled to flow and there was a rusted nail protruding from the bathroom wall. Caught a glimpse of a tiny roach on the bed… However, WiFi was stable and staff was polite. "

"Clean, comfortable and warm, easy access to Cairngorm mountain / ski centre, Loch Morlich, Reindeer Centre and Loch Uaine (Green Loch). Food menu in bar a little limited (Burgers etc.) but has other eateries. Only negative is the walls are thin so can hear people in next rooms but the staff were very quick to act"

"Have stayed in the Sandman on numerous occasions. Nice rooms, really comfy beds. Good food and bar has a good selection. Staff all very friendly. Good central location"

"Car park was full at the rear of building but they have another car park further up which we were not aware of. Staff were really friendly and bar was nice but a bit pricey.Breakfast was great and worth the extra to booking. Location is great for local shops and transport links. We would stay again if in the city."
