"From check in to check out, our experience at Anantara was so positive! We arrived to AMS super early, and we got so lucky they accommodated us and had a room ready! We took advantage of their amazing buffet breakfast. This is NOT to be missed! It’s a great way to start your day, the have literally everything and do a wonderful job replenishing and keeping spaces nice and orderly, all their staff are wonderful. Rooms were very nice size, with daily stocked water and amenities. Every single employee we passed or interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The lobby and on site restaurant and bar were beautiful. The location is extremely central to all public transport and main zones you’d want to explore. While we didn’t LOVE Dan Square because it felt very touristy, I’d avoid any restaurants right outside of hotel!!! However there was a grocery store steps away, we loved our evening treats from Rene’s right down the bloc and there were plenty of late night snack options! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Beautiful grand old hotel.the staff were incredibly helpful and the concierge was always at hand to guide you in the right direction. My room was stunning and had a lovely canal view. Breakfast buffet was very good and had some healthy options, but the best part of the hotel was the wellness spa and the warm pool that made you feel you were under the nights sky. Highly recommend. However, please note the restaurant is closed (although there are bar snacks) and a few elevators weren’t working when I was there. "
