"Really enjoyed the feeling of being transported to a previous era. Yes, its a bit worn in places, but yhe room was HUGE and very well provided with toiketries, teas etc. Also a full kitchenette and in room laundry. Would definitely stay again."

"The location suited me very well. Close to the Botanic Gardens and an easy walk to the river and the CBD. And to the Riverside dining area. Also walkable to the South bank for galleries and museum. The bedroom was spacious. Room service was responsive. The swimming pool was fine but would be better if it had changing facilities. The hotel is not overly modern. I would recommend it."

"Beautiful hotel at Howard Smith Wharves. Luxurious, lovely rooftop bar, staff are exceptional - couldnt do enough. Parking is underneath. Dining options right at your doorstep and only 15 min walk into the city round the river which is pleasant"

"Good bed, lights. Shower. Too little seating near reception - ie no guest lounge area apart from waiting area for being picked up by vehicle."

"Love staying at Rydges, very close to South Bank pools, bars and restaurants, only a few mins walk across the road. This is our 4th stay within the last 6 months!"

"Good to have two double beds. However, tiles in shower are slippery. No rubber mat in room but supplied when asked for. Needs to be much bigger to cover the walk-in part of the shower. A must for my 84 year old mother. More Earl Grey tea bags too - only one compared to 4 ordinary ones. Otherwise, well appointed room, good food - dinner and breakfast - and very helpful and friendly staff."

"I was staying at Evolution apArtments for work. It was brilliant just next to Federsl court close to cbd and very close to the legal precinct. My room was large, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The sky lounge on the top floor was magnificent and very hand for business meetings. "
