The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area."

"Overnight stay to attend wedding at a local venue the Lion called to check we were still needing the trim and when we said it was a wedding they suggested options to be able to check in as it was earlier than the published time. "Nice room and well presented we had velux windows and therefore couldn’t see outside. We were in room 1 right by stairs so there is more noise with people coming up the stairs. In terms of service every member of staff was doing 2 or 3 jobs everytime we saw them, they were all trying very hard but there really wasn’t enough of them to man all ovations as necessary from reception to bar to restaurant we were served by same person. "
