Evening meal ok. Breakfast service is still very poor with nothing being ready for the advertised 7am service start. Why it tales until 7.10 to put fresh milk out is a mystery. When there on business, with a bisy day ahead you want to start the day quickly and for 2 years this hasnt been possible. Great room and very comfortable. Bit clunky on checkout with no NatWest compatibility but that’s neither here nor there as it was sorted. Hotel was gorgeous , room was very spacious and clean. However service on both morning for breakfast was very slow waiting over 45 mins for our food (wasn’t busy either) on the 2nd day there was no fruit juice available or any continental food out to eat whilst waiting for our cooked breakfast. Other than the service at Breakfast time, hotel was first class. We had a two day stay, first morning at breakfast had to ask for sugar, orange juice was coloured water & wasn’t asked if we wanted toast (later found out toaster was provided). Today second day all tables had been used but not cleared & we had a 45 minute wait to be asked what we wanted for breakfast. No sugar on table had to take off other table, no salt in container on table had to take off other table, only apple juice was provided no other option. More staff was needed for the breakfast time.
