It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. "We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! "

"We had dinner there our first night. It was overpriced for everything on the menu. Our room was separated from the main inn and we had 2 rooms above us. The walls and floor were paper thin. The upstairs neighbors were up all hours of the night and it was a rough night's sleep. The room TV had satellite but only 4 channels worked. "
