"Easy, short walk to areas of interest. Nice bar and dining room. Unable to control heat in room, very stuffy, was able to open a window. Breakfast was very slow and almost missed day tour, wasnt able to finish eating, was told by waitress we would be compensated, we were not. We did have an overflow backed up shower plug that was fixed promptly. The front desk staff were helpful and kind."

"Cleaning staff were lovely, thoughtful, brought us extra nespresso. Had a nice window view down onto the brook. Hallways a bit dark, though, don't know why, and one front desk man tended to give answers to questions but didn't explain much; the women were great, though. Excellent breakfast! "

"Quaint and charming, this historic hotel exudes character. Despite taking the elevator, guests must navigate multiple steps. The bathroom is snug, contributing to the cozy ambiance of the room. The exceptional staff provided outstanding service, though more detailed parking information prior to check-in would have been appreciated. Onsite parking entails blocking other vehicles and leaving keys for potential repositioning, which may not be ideal for all guests."

"Great location. Public transportation is right across the street. Easy minute walk to all the action, shops and bars/restaurants. Room was nice though a little outdated, hotel is going through renovations. I would stay again. "

"Lovely rooms. Excellent, accommodating staff. Right in the heart of Latin Quarter. Don’t forget to close the double windows to block out the noise!! Parking was tricking since we were unfamiliar with the area. If you’re using GPS locate Spanish Arch Parking and you’ll be set. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning to stay in Galway!!!"

"We really liked this traditional hotel. Our room was very comfortable and homey and clean. The cleaning staff for the hotel were really helpful (helping us get our luggage upstairs). The only thing that you might stay away from is the dinner food in the attached pub. It didn't have much taste. But the breakfast was fine. "
