"Picked because of their reasonable prices and discounts available for multiple day stays. Indoor Pool was larger than expected, was a little disappointed to see that they have an outdoor pool as well but it looks like it’s closed and in desperate need of maintenance. "The Briars is in a lovely location in the Jackson Point area of Georgina, ON. It is a historic property on lovely grounds. As an EV driver, I was glad that they have chargers. Staff were friendly and efficient. My room was very comfortable and clean. I would say that the property is dowdy and could use some updating. The bathrooms were functional, but could use updated fixtures. That said, I would stay again."

However, pictures showed a jetted tub, larger suite, and rear facing patio (which we later learned were for the larger suite next door also owned by the owners who were fabulous.) I would suggest separating the two property pictures to avoid future confusion. "

"Lovely three-bedroom townhome equipped with all the essentials. Comfort level is adequate for a long or short stay but could be improved (Bed could be softer) . Communication was functional but felt somewhat impersonal. Be aware: guests must dispose of their own garbage at public facilities to dodge extra fees. I was a bit annoyed loading up garbage in my car to dispose of it. That said, I could’ve opted to pay the $15 per bag which I just felt as a matter of principle I was wrong....
