Went for a wedding. Conveniently located to the venue. It’s Newmarket, not much to do here other than business or family events. But this was a good hotel.

My room was a few doors down from the elevator. Very early in the morning I was woken up by a screeching and grinding sound that happened periodically. It kept waking me up. And then as the morning went later the noise got more frequent. Upon check out I mentioned this strange noise to the man at the front desk. He said that's the elevator and they cannot do anything about it. He must have took me for a child. This is total nonsense. Of course they can get someone to fix it. They just don't care. I would only stay here again if 1) the price was cheap and 2) They give me a room far away from the elevator.

This was my third stay at this facility. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Close to amenities and a lovely restaurant across the parking lot for an evening meal. I will be back in the future.

The property is clearly under renovation, which I nice to see. The room had two beds and upon checking the beds as I always do before bed, I noticed that the bed sheet under the top cover appeared not to have been changed. We chose to sleep in the other bed. Only a one night stay, no time to moved rooms
