"Directly in Cuenca el centere. Perfect for walking. Go to the street vendors and grab some authentic Ecuadorian street food in the evening. Very friendly staff. Building was well kept and clean though a bit noisy. Beautiful old hardwood floors announced every visitor.
There is on-site parking for about $4 overnight. A lovely light breakfast was provided"

The design and layout of the place is very pleasing, visually interesting, and easy to navigate. I was last here in February 2013, and I noticed some exterior aging of materials, but the interiors were pristine. My favourite spa ever!

I had a great stay here. Johan really made the experience great. He was very attentive, from making recommendations to nearby places for food to activates. I had an early start two of my days, and he even asked about when to have breakfast ready, and called the taxis ahead of time for me. The breakfast was great, the view from the back of the house is beautiful, it overlooks a stream. The only thing I'll mention is it is a little bit from town, I walked one of my days there it was about 30 -40...

We loved our stay here! Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor area and pool and watching the fish and birds! Our meal was great and so was breakfast. Very good staff and owner checked on us and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend and in walking distance to groceries and restaurants.

We were greeted by the owners daughter who was very helpful and informative about Lago Agrio and the hotel. Our room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was lovely and had a very large shower. The hotel offers meals too which is handy. We visited the park and walked the wooden pathway. We saw monkeys climbing in the trees, many different plants, trees and flowers, an indigenous exhibit, live reptiles behind glass windows, toucans and parrots in the trees and...

This was our most memorable stay during our 2 months in Ecuador! Exceptional value for money. Outstanding staff and customer service! The views are beautiful and the cabins very comfortable, with hot showers and extra blankets for chilly nights. Every cabin has a nice balcony with hammock chairs and a fold-down table. They have a great viewing platform for all sorts of hummingbirds, and a cool light-trap near a hide for watching birds eating bugs for breakfast. Wifi is excellent (we had to have...
