"Overall good value for price but unfortunately our non smoking room did smell very strongly of cigarettes especially during the first day or two of our stay. Room was decently clean other than a few surfaces such as the table (which was quite sticky) and the bed frame (which had drippy streaks on it. Hopefully it was just cleaner but I’m a bit of a germaphobe). The bathroom door also had to be wrestled with a bit to be shut. The breakfast was nice and included bread, pastries, cereal, biscuits...

"We visited Sandusky for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, and even this hotel was desolate considering the buzz surrounding the event. It's definitely an older hotel, and some of the rooms are cut off from the main lobby and are accessible only by going outside to the front of the hotel.
