"Very friendly staff, great housekeeping, the best coffee in lobby from 6:00 to 2:00. Also in room Wolfgang Puck coffee, complimentary snacks in room. The best thick bath towels and nice toiletries. Very close to Washington State Ferry. Downtown Seattle has a lot of homeless people all over but none bothered us during our two day visit. We will return to this hotel next visit. "

"The State Hotel was a great property. It was my first time here and I loved the room and location. I do think the one chair in the room is a bit uncomfortable but that’s just me. The hotel is next to Pike Place and of course there’sg homeless around the area but they don’t really bother you. Bed was comfortable. I loved the shower and could have stayed in there for hours. Would stay again. "
