“Perfect for us”
We were attending a concert at the Key Arena, which is two blocks away, and this hotel was perfect for us. The rate was very reasonable for what we got. Our room (#419) had a nice comfortable window bench where I read the morning paper and enjoyed a coffee from Starbucks, which is connected to the lobby of the hotel. The rooftop deck had an amazing view. The hotel was clean and classy. We had to pay for parking and wi-fi, but that's standard in this area. I didn't love the bed; my husband thought it was fine. Lots of great restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!
“Great hotel for a great price.”
This hotel is great value for your money. The primary reason I stay here is because of location. This hotel is situated within walking distance of the Space Needle and nearby downtown. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are simple and clean. Internet is not free, but there is a Starbucks next door that offers free wifi. Two cautions: the walls are really thin. I could hear the guy next door coughing and sneezing all night. And be careful of the parking garage, it's narrow and has small spaces to fit a truck or SUV, but exiting the structure in a compact car will scrape the bottom of your car due to the speed bump and incline of the driveway.
“Our favorite in Seattle”
We "disovered" The Mediterranean through Expedia a couple of years ago, and we have come back at least three times since. We live about two hours from Seattle, and the few times a year we want to go to Seattle, the "Med' is our place of choice. Handy to bus routes if that's the way you want to go. So many ethnic/interesting restaurant choices within a couple of blocks walking distance. And a nice Safeway is just across the street to grab a beer and wine and snackies that you can keep chilled in the room refrig. Also within walking distance (bring your walking shoes) to Seattle Center and only a couple of blocks to Key Arena. The Med is charming, convenient and did I say charming and convenient ?? The only "surprise" is the $15 parking fee and be forewarned ... the underground parking spaces are VERY tight (don't bring your full-size club cab pickup).
“Quiet Lower Queen Anne Stay”
Only spent one night but satisfied with the accommedation. The hotel was tidy and quiet. Plenty of dining options within walking distance and also a market around the corner. We appreciated the secure underground parking for a reasonable fee. Hotel is non-smoking, which is also nice. There is also a Starbucks accessible from the Hotel lobby.
“Pleasant, warm and conveniently located little inn”
This is not a 5 star hotel. It is not a 4 or 3 star hotel either. So don't expect it to be. However, it's a very conveniently located inn. You can take the monorail located ~10 min walk from this hotel to Westlake center and then Light rail to the airport or stadium. Or walk from Westlake center to Pike Place market easily. Total cost is less than $11/person for both. It's 10 min walk to Space needle. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Room is clean and has an awesome view. Neighborhood does not look fancy but it's safe as we walk there every night from the monorail station back to the inn. Enjoy the stay!
“Can't Say Enough”
I've travelled a lot in my 67 years, and stayed in a lot of very nice places as well as some dumps. THis is the nicest place I've EVER stayed in. It's not that it's the most luxurious, certainly. But the service, the location, the ambience....I felt like I was living in my own house most of the time, it was that comfortable.
“Craig”
Good deal and great location. The rooms didn't appear to have AC, so if you go in the summer ask.
“Great for the price”
This was my second stay at this hotel... I was pleased.... They have a bike and internet package for around 7.50 and it includes a bike rental w/ a helmet and lock. Very nice if your planning on just going down town to shop or to the market. This hotel is right near the city center (emp, space needle, science center, etc) Very convenient. Two water bottles come in the fridge and coffee popcorn and tea for your stay. Having no internet in the room wast a huge deal as there is a Starbucks connected to the lobby w/ internet... and also computers in the lobby to use and a business center w computers and printers. We got a great deal... and there is a nearby restaurant called Toulouse that has a splendid breakfast happy hour! We will probably stay again!
“Great location for Seattle! Close to the Space Needle.”
Nice ambiance. Older hotel but very comfortable and great neighborhood to walk in. Market, drugstore, restaurants, museums, movie, Space needle, bay-all within walking distance. Will return.
“Night In Seattle”
This hotel is very close to the Key Arena and the heart of Seattle! Disappointed that we had to pay to park our car in the hotel parking garage and that we also had to pay for package in order to have a cup of coffee in the morning when most hotel include the services for free. Overall it was a very nice place to stay.
