I was a little worried after reading that the hotel room was a little on the small side as there were four of us packing into this room but it wasn't bad at all. The bathroom comfortably housed three of us as we were getting ready to go out and though the beds were a little small but that's fairly usual for people ranging from 5'8 - 6'4.
The location wasn't that far at all from the market or the showbox which was the purpose of our visit. The only downside of the trip was getting off of the train with our bags and realizing the trip to the hotel was four blocks... up hill. No one ever mentioned how hilly Seattle is but the exercise was good, though unexpected, not a problem so long as you aren't planning on carrying 50lbs worth of luggage around all day.
Area recommendations
We spent most of our time over in the international district. I can't comment on the normal touristy options as we somehow managed not to visit a single one of them. The four of us were far more excited about asian culture. Uwaijima Market was awesome, as was the bookstore and the various restaurants attached to and around it.
The one place we did manage to visit was the showbox. If there's a show your thinking of going there, it's worth it. The venue isn't large but isn't the smallest I've ever been too. There's limited seating near the bar but the floor is spacious enough that if you don't want to be in the mob at the base of the stage you'd be quite comfortable standing further back and still within range for a great view.

“Great Hotel with Easy Access to Downtown”
The bed was to die for! The room was great and quiet. Easy access to downtown Seattle sites and shopping! The only disappointments were that it would have been nice to have a break on the parking fee because we were guests and not staying 24 hours ($32 for 24 hours?!!?) and a complementary continental breakfast. Great experience otherwise.

“Not overly impressed”
We booked a room which included buffet breakfast. When I checked in I asked where the breakfast was and was told it was on the top floor. I later went back to reception to ask if I needed a coupon for breakfast and after looking it up again on their computer, I was given the coupons. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is dated and does not have free wi-fi which, for the price, I expected. The room was clean but the bathroom was very small. Overall, it was okay for one night but I don't think I would stay there again.
Area recommendations
We stayed at the Cedarbrook Lodge near SeaTac and it was fantastic. Clean, quiet, convenient to everything, free snacks and water and for the price was excellent value for the money.

“front person's mistake”
I obviously confirmed the plan included breakfast. But front person said it isn't included.
When I returned home and made sure my reservantion. I confirmed the room include breakfast. Then I called to the customer service. Manager said call me next day but there were no phone call.
What a rude attitude! I didn't think Hilton hotel is such a poor hotel.
I'll never stay at Hilton hotel forever!

“Want wi-fi in your room? Pay $12 per day or go to Starbucks.”
Room was as expected, well furnished and clean, however wi-fi access was not included. It's was a real turn off to be expected to pay $12 a day when every coffee shop on the corner can offer free wi-fi and Expedia lists wi-fi as an offering available at this Hilton. Missing key word, "complimentary".

Stay closer to Pikes Place where there are available food options.

“This hotel would not be on my top three picks for Seattle”
The hotel staff never explain to me how to exit the ground. I looked for instructions in the hotel info booklet. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff. They looked uninterested and didn't really care.
Area recommendations
The Hilton is in a great location. It is a short walk to all the great shopping, restaurants and local things to visit.
Getting there
Check your local maps on where to find the parking. There are a lot of one way streets and it can be tricky.
