“construction work makes noise during the day”

This hotel looks like it was a La Quinta at one time. It is now a Wyndham property, and it's being renovated. My room had contemporary furnishings and was overall quite comfortable. The only issue is that they are renovating a nearby building on the property, and during the day there's a lot of noise and beep-beep-beep of trucks backing up. If you're wanting to get some rest during the day, you may have trouble.

“Bunk Beds and King Great for a Family of 4”

The kids had room to play with toys and a table to draw or eat at . We did not have any problems with parking and not really any noise. It was very close to Sea World. The food establishment that is close by is slow to serve its patrons. There are many places to eat close by. We stayed there when it was owned by Holiday Inn about sixteen years ago and it hasn't changed to much except for the remodeling of the rooms. Our room smelled a little musty.

“Would stay again if I had too.”

The hotel was still wrapping a few minor things from the renovations, but overall the hotel was very nice. Only real problem I had was that housekeeping cleaned our room and took our dirty towels but didn't leave clean ones. After five requests from the front desk and two days with no towels, housekeeping finally brought some.

“I would recommend it to others.”

It's located very conveniently to access most anything that would have you in San Diego. People working here were friendly and helpful as you would expect them to be and then some. I'd surely love to stay there again as soon as I go down there.

“Nice remodelation”

We stayed just for a night but the hotel location was very helpful for the plan we had next day... We stayed in the hotel before and we are impressed with all the upgrades that have been done in the rooms, they look very nice!! There was like a graduation party at the hotel and there were many young people that were doing noise until 3 am... So we had a little hard time to sleep...

“Comfy and good location for the price!”

Over all we were very satisfied with our trip with expedia. We are not super picky people and are pretty laid back so there was definately some little things that could have been a little better.....just remember.....its a 3 star hotel.....NOT a 5 star. You get what you pay for! ;-)

“Close to everything”

Hotel is close to Sea World & Mission Beach. Plenty of places to eat close by. I was expecting a fancier hotel but overall good hotel.

“san diego ...ocean beach”

The place had an accessible location to all we wanted to do ....Ocean Beach (much less crowded then mission), Sea World, bike trail and dining at Mission Beach. Though on a main road they have created a little haven that felt very private. There were a few 'issues' but probably just hit things on an 'off day' (the tv in one of our rooms didn't work - we could have traded rooms, but didn't care), internet to the rooms was down (could still access in lobby) and the pump on the hot tub kept shutting off. But the rooms were very nice, staff great and glad we stayed there!!
