“Nice stay in Del Mar”

If you journey takes you to Del Mar, this is not a bad place to stay. My friend stayed at the Grand Del Mar. Way too overpriced for my budget (4x the price of the Hampton). Great breakfast and solid accomodations -nothing to brag about, but it was a good value.

“A very pleasant stay”

My husband and I spent a week at this location while visiting friends in the area. Our room was clean and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and I was delighted to read the card placed on the bed that stated that even the duvet covers were freshly laundered for each guest. We would stay here again.

Area recommendations

We enjoy walking in the Torrey Pines Reserve. The path to the beach offers beautiful views.

“Clean, Comfortable and Affordable”

I've stayed at the neighboring Doubletree and Marriott hotels on prior visits, but decided to give the Hampton Inn a try. I'm glad I did! The room wasn't quite as big, but very clean, with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV-- and it was quiet! The hotel offers free internet, parking and a delicious breakfast, so I saved $$$ compared to the other hotels. And it has a decent fitness room. On my next trip, I'll stay here rather than the other hotels.

“No Eggs?”

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn San Diego Del Mar. Our only real surprise was they didn't have eggs with breafast. Strange they had waffles, sausage, cereal, bagels but no eggs. However, this was no show stopper for us, we will likely stay there again... There's a Starbucks and Denny's just a couple minutes away :)

“Great hotel!”

We had a great stay! The front desk staff were very helpful. Check-in and check-out took no more than two minutes and they were happy to print my boarding passes for me. Breakfast was included and was very good (and we didn't even use the waffle-maker because there was such a line). Thanks, Hampton Inn Del Mar!
