"This was a very nice resort! I was looking through the reviews before booking resort and those saying the food was bad made me super nervous! But the food was AMAZING! Extremely fresh and soooooo many options! If booking a restaurant reservation I recommend the oriental restaurant the sushi was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! The only downfall was in a few buildings it smelled moldy which gave me a headache and caused me to have a runny nose, other than that everything was great no complaints! Very family friendly!"

"This was our 8th visit to Excellence Rivera Cancun. We got a swimout suite on the lazy river. The location was perfect. Our waiters were Hugo ,Jorge and 2 others. We were never needing a drink. We ate breakfast at the Lobster House or the Kitchen Table. Both were delicious, i did like being outside for breakfast at the Lobster House. Lunch we went to various places. Pizza, Kitchen Table and Orgeno. They all were good. Dinner we ate at a different place each night. My favorites were Lobster House and Oregano. The lobster and lasagna were delicious. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment. My favorite was Claudia Trevino. She is a fantastic singer. Go see her when you are there. The only bad thing was having to leave. We will definitely return to Excellence Rivera Cancun. "
