"Incredible Experience, 5 star service."
The Viceroy is a rare little gem, tucked away in a jungle setting, very Bohemian in decor. Beautiful, well designed villas grace the property down winding paths of tropical landscape. The staff appears from nowhere offering fabulous service that would rival any I have ever experienced. "Use this property as if it were your home." This was their motto. We had a Wedding Vow Renewal and celebrated 32 years of marriage, they planned a surprise evening for my husband decorated beautifully on the lawn in a private setting. I can't think of a better way to enjoy a vacation should you choose the all inclusive option, you will never leave the property. An awesome experience and lovely way to spend a truly blissful vacation.

"Great vacation!!"
My husband and I stayed a week here. We have been to Mexico 17x but this was our first at the Capri. The staff could not do enough for you. Eveyone was pleasant and very helpful. The resort was very clean but did need some renovations to the pool. The pool is a decent size with lots of chairs. The side with the bar could be pretty lod but the other side was quiter. The beach was full of seaweed. They did bring in a front loader everyday to clean the beach. If the beach is very important to you it may be wise to look elsewhere. We felt the size of the beach was fine and we always found a seat. We felt the entertainment was good. Lots of activities during the day and different shows at night. The food was fantastic. We had a great time and would return again if the price was right.

"So fun for the family!"
Took our three kids, 12, 14, 17 and we had a blast. The place is huge - stayed a week and seemed every day we discovered a new section, from tide-pooling at the salt-water pool, to water slides, to oh-my-gosh they have crocodiles here too! We love wild things, so the fact that cat-sized iguanas are everywhere (pooside even) and tejon (picture a lemur marrying a racoon) regularly visit you while you lunch in the open air, was pretty amazing. The beach was beautiful (though they're having a small and sometimes smelly seaweed issue, it didn't bother us) and the staff so, so friendly. Plus the grounds are beautifully scaped and maintained, with water features abounding. Tons of activities, even a (very difficult) mini-golf course, archery, tennis - we didn't do it, but they have rifle shooting too! The only negatives: The food, while not awful, was not good either. The all-inclusive was fun and easy with kids, but they could do better with the food. The beds/pillows (we were in White Sands) were rock hard. And I don't know why the 20 somethings that run the activity center by the pool think that their guests enjoy REALLY loud thumping nightclub music blaring poolside. We just don't, most of us. When I asked them to turn it down, they said they couldn't. If you don't want to get stuck sitting next to the speakers, then get poolside early and throw down your towel on some chairs - they get spoken for fast.

"Beautiful resort and not one problem!"
I'm going to tell about my experience and also address some of the negative things said about this resort: First, check in was a breeze. Took about 5 minutes and had our room. This is a record time for a Mexico check-in. Room was very nice, clean, and cool. We had a very hot week and the room stayed as cool as we wanted it. Staff was fantastic and very nice. Barbara from the entertainment staff was a lot of fun and cycled with my wife and I in the pool every day. She was GREAT! I saw earlier feedback about the following issues so I kept an eye out to report on. Here it is: Beach was a long way away: If you sit in front of the TV and haven't walked in 5 years, then yeah, it's a little bit of a walk. I could get to the beach walking medium speed in about 10 minutes. The adult pool was 1 minute (but it's small and everyone smoked so we didn't every go here). The main pool was 5 minute walk. Nothing crazy and they did have the trains running which were always going by. Lots of Seaweed on the beach: True, they were out removing it every morning. They did a good job. The beach was beautiful and there were two very sandy areas to walk in the ocean (way out) and clean. Water was warm. It's the ocean, can't blame the resort for that. Watered down drinks: We tried Bailey's and Capt. Morgan and it was full octane! Hard to water down beer too. TV channels not in English: Only American arrogance would believe TV should be in English every country you visit.

"Nice place with great selection!"
Took a family Spring Break vacation to the Ocean Coral and had a wonderful experience. The property was clean and safe with nice evening ambience. My kids enjoyed the wide variety of food options available. The staff were all super friendly and willing to go out of their way to please. All in all, We would revisit and will make recommendations to friends and family.
