“Excellent location and comfort”
Excellent location and comfort. very firendly front desk staff.
“Underrated Surprise”
Looking for a place to stay while sightseeing downtown Quebec? This is a bargain! Town is only 5 minutes away by car and 15 by bus, the hotel is quiet and probably deserves more stars. The best value for the price I have ever had!
“presque parfait”
trés belles chambres, parties communes agréables, une petite piscine couverte, l'accueil a été bon; dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de service de, petit déjeuner dans l'hotel
“Very Pleased”
For a 3-star hotel, it was everything we expected. We were very pleased with our room, with the hotel overall, its location and value. Service was fine. We speak only English but had no trouble whatsoever in any regard. We shall return to this hotel on our next visit to Quebec City.
“Quality of a 4/5 star hotel, for price of a 2 star hotel”
Fantastic hotel, very friendy staff and super clean. We were upgraded to a suite, which contained a 42" Sony HD TV, a electric fireplace, a jacuzzi and the cleanest bathroom my wife has ever seen, (which is the first thing she considers when selecting a hotel). The pool is very nicely themed with plants and a separte children's water-play area. The resturant menu is fairly priced, but slightly limited in choice. The only thing lacking was a free complimentry breakfast. All in all a hotel I would definitely stay in again and well worth the price.
“Great deal and excellent location”
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights/3 days. Just to 1 or 2 miles from downtown. Different kind of restaurants around, even the same hotel has a really fancy restaurant. The pool area, very tropical and warm, with elegant balconies and birds with cages around. Bed, sooooo comfy, I love it and roomy as well.
“location”
The address was incorrect. The hotel is actually 321 Ste. Anne not 3401. When we couldn't find it we went into garmin and found the correct address. Girl at front desk said this was a common problem with finding the location.
“Had a good stay...”
We had a great stay at the Ambassadeur Hotel. The only thing we didnt care for was the extreme chlorine smell in the pool area. The birds were a treat to watch. We'll come back there again.
“Ambassadeur”
would definately stay there again
“A very nice place to stay”
We are a group of five people from one year old to 55 years old and we spent 3 nights in the Ambassador hotel (from April 29 to May 2, 2011); we were very pleased with everything including the rooms (big and clean), the restaurant, and the heated pool. The location is very good, close to old Quebec, to the Montmorency falls and Sainte Anne de Beaupre. The hotel is nice and cozy, and the staff very professional. The parking lot is big, and safe. It is true that the bathroom in the standard room has no ventilation but we did not see it as an inconvenience. All in all in our opinion is a very good place and we had a very enjoyable stay.
