“Business in Gatineau”
Well located, close to restaurants and shopping center and a very friendly staff. serve our purpose in gatineau perfectly. Thanks
“Great hotel for an affordable price”
Nothing to say about this hotel except good words; it was clean, the staff was courteous, and there is even a breakfast included in the price! Great location also, in Gatineau (more quiet, with good restaurants around), and you're about 10 minutes from Ottawa (in car).
“Hotel convenient for visiting Ottawa by car”
The hotel "Comfort Inn Gatineau" fronts on a relatively large street, Bd De la Gappe, and the signboard is easy to find, but as the building itself is far from the street, it is quiet and the parking place is sufficiently large. There are two double beds and one desk in the room, which is large enough for us (with my wife). The desk is convenient for writing cards and so on. A receptionist, Ms. Desjardins, is diligent and so kind to give us pertinent information as to the way to Ottawa city, Mont-Tremblant, etc. There is a very nice buffet named "Buffet Continents" at a 2-min walking distance, which serves a variety of foods at our choice with amazingly low prices.

Wonderful hotel for business: set in an area of zero tourist interest, so no yahoos partying it up all night and slamming doors at 3 a.m., no children running up and down the hallway. BUT, don't stay there if your business is in Ottawa--the whole of Quebec seems to work in Ottawa and the one or two bridges and roads are clogged 24/7, takes an hour off the day to get into Ottawa. Plus, the bridges are rotten and look like they could collapse at any time--one of them even had signs forbidding heavy trucks from using the right hand lane, in which the concrete was so severely eroded that most of the rebar could be seen.

“Good hotel when visiting the Ottawa area”
This is a very good hotel: clean, comfortable, quiet, and very close to downtown Ottawa. The receptionists are young and friendly but, if you do not speak French, and English is not their first language, then make sure that your reservations and/or cancellations are very clear. I plan to stay at this hotel again.
“a bit surprised...”
One of the room I booked was supposed to be occupied by 3 adults and 1 child. We were surprised to see that in the room there were a Queen-bed and a small sofa bed + the size of the room was rather small. What kind of comfort can we talk about if we squeeze 3 adults and 1 child in room that's max number of occupants is supposed to be 3 (2 adults + 1 child)? This kind of uneasiness unpleasantly surprised us, though even all the hotel employees were extremely courteous and helpful.
