"We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. The interior decorating is cool including many wood features. Dan the property manager was responsive and provided good instructions on using the smart home features. "Didn't get entry instructions til just a few hours before arrival. Outdated cream and milk in frig. Not wiped clean. Floor has glue and stains. Looks dirty. Dust thick on top frig and wall shelves. Oven drawer not clean. Lightbulb burned out and fixture dirty. No replacement bulb No sheets pillows or blankets for extra beds. One is slippery futon. Other must be loveseat pullout. No topsheet for master so we had to go buy one for hot hubby Yard is gravel back yard so can't sit out and enjoy....

It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks. Spent a lot of time talking with Nova Scotians who are great people, always had the feeling they'd give you the shirt off their backs."

"Travelled with my daughter and this hotel was very well located. Short walking to the harbour and the main other streets full of restaurants. There is a paid parking self-serve and underground in the same facility which is very convenient! The beds were VERY comfortable!!!!! In terms of coffee or breakfast, they have a small “Starbucks wanna be” inside the hotel that do the work. But don’t book thinking you are going g to have a full option of breakfast For my next visit I will definitely stay back here!!!! Highly recommended I want to highlight the EXCEPTIONAL service provided by Jenny at the front desk. I love her energy and her attitude towards solving problems to customers while providing outstanding customer service. Kristin, thanks to you too for also doing your best to extend us for another night! Go girls!!!!! "
