"Great Location"
We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the downtown tourist spots. It's across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, walking distance to the Aquarium and Freedom Trail. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to take advantage of this. There are a number of restaurants to sample so you didn't need to drive. Would definitely return when it's warmer. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Room was impeccable and spacious.

"Awesome Experience!"
Everything was amazing. From the moment we walked through the doors we were welcomed and treated like special guests. The manager that checked us in at the front desk asked if we were there for a special occasion and I informed him that this was my wife's Christmas gift as well as her birthday which was this weekend we were there. 30 minutes after first being in our room, the manager had a special plate sent up to our room with chocolate covered strawberries, pastries, and specialty chocolates. On the plate was written HAPPY BIRTHDAY in chocolate and a cookie cut out resembling the hotel's shape outlined in of course CHOCOLATE. Anytime we walked down to head out we were asked if we needed anything or needed a taxi for our days adventure. The turn down service was great. Everytime we left to go out on the town for the evening, we would arrive to our room being picked up, straightened, special presents and our house slippers next to our sides of the bed. My favorite hotel I have ever visited.

"Perfect boutique hotel in Boston"
Excellent boutique hotel in Boston. I travel regularly to Boston for work and this is where I like to stay. The location is very convenient and the rooms are are spacious and beautiful. The bathroom and shower are wonderful with Molton Brown products. The bed and pillow are super comfortable. The restaurant downstairs has some nice dishes and the staff is always very friendly.

"Recent stay at Kenmore Square"
Stayed for three nights. Especially liked: the location-access to BU, Transportation (especially the T), restaurants connected to hotel are excellent, staff were excellent. Some renovations are underway, but did not inconvenience guests.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Inn. The room was cozy. If you are looking for a larger more modern hotel you should stay at the Best Western across the street from the Prison. The history behind the Inn was so interesting. Everyone who worked at the Inn was very happy and pleasant to interact with.

"Consistently nice hotel"
I've stayed at Nine Zero several times. Always am greeted by a nice staff including valet. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable with some good reading material. Great location too. Prices are normally reasonable. I happened to need to go to Boston the week of Columbus Day weekend last fall and ALL hotel rooms in Boston seemed to cost twice what they normally do including Nine Zero but that must have been due to the demand.

"Not a Bad Jail to Spend a Night In"
From the outset, the staff were very welcoming. The Doorman took care of our car and we were whisked right up to the reception. Check-in was quick and they offered champagne to welcome us. The rooms are located in the new annex and the room was very clean and extremely well appointed. The bathroom is large and 2 soft bath robes and slippers are provided. Multiple sets of glasses and alcoholic beverages were out on the credenza. We ate at Scampo's, one of the five restaurants, and it was delicious. All of the socializing activities occur in the old Jail section so that the rooms were very quiet. The next day we had appointments at Mass General and they kept the car until 4 PM, so that we could make our appointments and not have to worry about parking. Excellent hotel and we would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.
