“Great Hotel, Lackluster Maid Service”

The hotel was wonderful, comforatable and very clean. The maid service was haphazzard - the beds were nicely made, but the throw-blanket was left crumpled on the bed one day and the pillows were tossed carelessly on the bed the second day. Also the second day we recieved no new washcloths. Everything in the hotel was spotless, except for these "neatness" issues.

“Very Nice Hotel”

Everything about this hotel was terrific, except for its accessibility by anything but a car. The hotel is not very close to the nearest T stop (Central), and is a pretty lengthy walk from both MIT and Harvard. As long as you have your own car, or don't mind taking a taxi, you'll be fine.

“Great Experience”

My daughter and I went there to visit Harvard and Boston University. The hotel is in a great location for both these schools so this was perfect for us. The surrounding neighborhood wasn't particularly nice though. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. There was nothing they wouldn't do for you. The hotel was very clean, the only minor problem was that the wallpaper was peeling in the room. The hotel runs an on-demand shuttle service for $5 a day which takes you to several locations in the Boston area and this was extremely useful and efficient. Overall, this was a great hotel for our trip.
