"Great hotel on beach"
Wow - lovely hotel on a large beach. Fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. Food was delicious. People were friendly. Just 30-40 minutes south of Boston. Priced low during their off-season. Best deal in town - relax at the beach while visiting my Boston college student.

"The best hotel in Boston"
Everything about it is great: location, cleanliness, staff, comfort! What else is needed when you're on vacation or business? We've stayed in a couple of other 5-star hotels in Boston but have always come back to Boston Harbor Hotel. We will never stay anywhere else anymore.

"Pleasantly surprised"
We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge. We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. There are a few cool vegan friendly restaurants in a one block radius that the concierge did not know about - Green something (adjacent to hotel), Flour, and Bees Knees. Easy access to airport, and South Station.

"Good location with great transport links"
Really spacious rooms with basic kitchen facilities including microwave and coffee machine. Staff helpful. 3 cafes within easy walking distance for breakfast in the morning and a really nice bistro within 60 seconds walk for evening meals. Walkable distance into city centre but if you want to save your legs, you can use the free shuttle bus which takes you to and from North station where you can get the subway or overland trains to the northern suburbs such as Salem. Or you can use the shuttle ferry which gets you to Long Wharf - just a short walk from Faneuil Hall and the Old State House. If you're there around a week, I strongly recommend getting a Charlieticket Weeklink pass (seven days for nineteen dollars when we went) which you can use on the ferry as well as the subway and city bus system.

If it’s summer, bring those sandals for some beach sports, and if it’s winter, bring that warm jacket for a brisk morning stroll.

Start your beach-hopping adventure at Revere Beach. Located 7 km north of downtown Boston and accessible by the subway (nicknamed the “T”), this 3-km beach is the oldest public beach in the United States. While you can spend your whole day walking along the sand, take a peek at the Victorian-styled pavilions and old-fashioned bathhouses. Revere Beach is also a popular spot for dog lovers, and you’ll see plenty of locals walking their pooches during morning’s first light. For something a little calmer, head 16 km south of downtown to the South Boston Beaches, a continuous stretch of sandy regions looking out to Dorchester Bay. If you’re travelling around the New Year, make your way to L Street Beach, where the “L Street Brownies” plunge into the icy water every January 1st.

Whether you’re looking for a place to wash off the sand or get your bones warmed up, you can count on your Boston beach hotel. Pick a spot close to the shore for the ultimate convenience. And not to worry about fishing around for great deals; Expedia makes it easy to book a hotel in Boston on the cheap. We also offer top discounts on pet-friendly hotels if you’re looking to bring Buddy or Sassy along for the trip.

Life’s a beach when you visit Boston. Just make sure you have a cozy beach hotel to welcome you back from the sea.
