Dining
Parker's - Appointed with oak paneling and Waterford chandeliers, Parker's serves American and Continental cuisine, including its famous Parker House Rolls and Boston Cream Pie. John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier at Table 40.
Parker's Bar - Mahogany paneling, a fireplace, and stained-glass windows provide appealing surroundings for cocktails, along with dining from the Parker's menu. The spot was popular with Boston's Saturday Club, a 19th-century literary group that included Thoreau, Emerson, and Oliver Wendell Holmes.
The Last Hurrah - This bar draws locals and Beacon Hill politicians for drinks and meals. It has a lighter, more casual feel than Parker's and is a good spot for people-watching both inside and out along School and Tremont streets.

“Excellent location to city attractions.”
Historic, clean hotel , centrally located to the best city attractions.
“Value for money”
The standard room I had was spacious (only it had no view and not a lot of daylight), and clean. When you subscribe to their loyalty program, you get free wifi and each morning a drink delivered to your room. Breakfast is not included and little too expensive imho.
“Beautiful Hotel; Great Location; Wonderful Service”
Our recent stay at the Omni Parker House was excellent. This was our first trip to Boston together and we were relatively unfamiliar with the area but the location of this hotel was perfect...less than 5 minute walk away from the train station and in a great area. The hotel itself was beautiful with tons of character and charm and very importantly very clean. And the service was excellent as the staff was very nice, friendly and eager to be helpful. We'd definitely go back to the Omni Parker House the next time we're in Boston and highly recommend it to others.
“Housekeeping needs improvement”
Although the room was nice, there was trash - the last guest's deoderant and contact lens wrapper - lying on the floor beside the bed when we arrived. I complained, and they gave us a couple of free breakfast coupons, which was nice, but still the poor housekeeping undermined our comfort level with the hotel.
“Great location!”
Only real complaint is that Wi-Fi in room is charged per day.
“Boston Cream Pie”
Very nice, near everything you'd want to see. Very nice bar and the Boston Cream Pie is to die for.
“Not Impressed”
I'd be disappointed in this hotel if it wasn't for the cheap deal I got. I would never pay full price for this hotel, and I've stayed at 2 star hotels that are much roomier and more efficient. The room was tiny, as expected in the city. No microwave or fridge, which was not necessary or expected but always nice to have, especially in such a highly rated hotel. The room was clean. Bed was small, probably a full size. Bath tub was clean, but didn't drain well at all. By the end of my shower the water was up past my ankles. Convenient location. Overall a decent stay, but certainly not worth more than a discounted rate.
“Best Bed in Boston”
This hotel has great facilities, the only bad thing is that there are a lot of homeless people around the neighborhood. The Boston cream pie home try it it is great!!
“SMALL, BUT COZY ROOM”
Rooms are small, you can barely walk around the beds. Bathroom is tiny too, but everything is well organized. They find room for all stuffs you need in a hotel. The breakfast is very good, but the menu at the bar could be better. The hotel is the oldest in USA, it's charming, well preserved and clean. Location at downtown is good, next to a lot of cheap, but famous, stores, however a liitle far from Newbury street, the most famous street to walk, buy (if you can afford expensive stores) and have a coffee. The hotel worths the price you pay. I recommend. BRAZILIAN GUEST.
“Great price for a good hotel”
It was in a great area. Right around the corner of Quincy market. The windows open a little which is great for me cause I like the breeze. I wasn't crazy about the sirens going off every 1/2 hour. If you don't like noise it's not for you. Your in the heart of bars and and night life. Subway near by. Movie theater near by. Lost to eat at Quincy market. Their "central park" is around the corner. I liked my stay. Thank you expidia.
