Splurged on this gem of a castle walking distance to some nice pubs. The room was amazing. From the small cross windows to the deep bath tub and high bed. It was amazing to stay in a castle!

Good boutique hotel in central location in Bristol. Historic building with welcoming atmosphere. Food in the restaurant very good, service staff could benefit from some training but very friendly. Would recommend and return.

The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly. We requested particular type of pillow and these were provided. Sheets and bed were great. Room was a bit on the small side and space for storing clothing was limited - could easily put a small chest of drawers in the corner by the window. Wash basin in the hallway was a bit inconvenient. Had a great stay and would definitely go back.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Clayton hotel in Bristol. The staff were very kind and attentive, the room was clean, modern and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. I particularly appreciated how carefully the breakfast buffet items were labelled with allergens, and how there was a separate toaster for gluten free bread. Lovely and unique property with so much character! The host was very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable, and provided wonderful information about the history of the property itself and the local area. The unit is very well set up and has everything you need, including laundry and a great little kitchen. Very clean, tastefully decorated and well presented. Very unique property ! Comfy bed and apartment. Lots of snacks and drink provided in the room. Soft towels, hot water and good water pressure in the shower.

Nice room setup even if they're a little tight, great bar attached to the hotel.
